People weren’t exactly sure how the two animals fit together, but it turns out they get along pretty well.
In the video shared below, Chewie can be seen reaching out and stroking Eli’s face before the two embraces.
Eli the beagle didn’t flinch when Chewie reached out with his big claws and touched the dog. The dog seems to encourage hugs by cuddling and pulling the sloth’s hand!
They are very cute and you can feel their love for each other. They may not be of the same species and may not have much in common, but they are a beautiful example of how love and friendship truly have no boundaries.
