The court delivered a final verdict in the case of Gwyneth Paltrow against a 76-year-old skier

It would appear that the interest of fans in celebrity litigation has not only not decreased, but has rather been on the rise ever after Johnny Depp and Amber Heard settled their differences in the courtroom regarding their relationship.

The legal dispute between Gwyneth Paltrow and Terry Sanderson has been a popular topic of conversation among internet users over the past week.

Recall that the ophthalmologist, who is now 76 years old and has already retired, accused the actress of slamming into him at great speed on a ski run, and that after the collision, she “left him all alone in the snow.”

At first, Terry wanted an attractive compensation package from Gwyneth in the amount of $3.1 million. The actress entered a not guilty plea and simultaneously filed a counterclaim.

The ophthalmologist, however, was unfazed by this development. When he went back to court a second time, the judge lowered the needed amount of compensation to a sum that was far more reasonable—300 thousand dollars.

On March 21, the trial got underway, and there was a session scheduled for every single day. Additionally, Gwyneth was present at each one of them in person.

On Thursday of this week, the jury, following a hearing that lasted for two hours and a period of deliberation that lasted for twenty minutes, decided to reach a conclusion and cleared Paltrow of all accusations.

Following the reading of the judgement by the court, Gwyneth approached Terry and said, “I hope everything works out for you.” In response, he expressed his gratitude to the actress.

Paltrow, by the way, provided an explanation as to why she made the decision to appear in court on her own, despite the fact that she could have easily just paid the sum that was demanded from her.

“I had the impression that if I agreed to this, I would be confirming the untrue accusations that had been made against me. My honesty was called into question. I am content with the outcome and grateful for all of the effort that was put in by the judge and the jury. “I want to express my appreciation to them for the thoughtful way in which they have approached this issue,” Gwyneth added.
