Two amazing sisters from Minnesota named Abigail and Isabelle were born with their chests linked.
They have developed into healthy, happy young girls with bright personalities and striking ginger hair, despite the difficulties they encountered as infants.
They recently celebrated their 10th birthday, marking ten years after the amazing operation that allowed them to be separated and live different lives.
Six months after their birth, 17 surgeons worked on the procedure, which lasted more than 12 hours.
Only two weeks after their surgery, Abigail and Isabelle, who had previously spent six months in the facility, were allowed to return home.
Their stomachs and bowels were bent together, and they were linked at the chest.
Isabelle also had a bigger heart than Abby.
However, the effective separation has allowed them to develop normally, with no significant health issues.
Living in North Dakota, Abigail and Isabelle are currently in the fourth grade.
