After his portrayal in “The Green Mile,” in which he skillfully played a guy who had been given the death penalty, this wonderfully gifted, highly esteemed, and commendable actor achieved international renown and acclaim.
His actual life wasn’t great either, though. He had a single mother raise him. Later, due to a lack of funding, the future star was forced to quit his basketball studies as well as his education.
He first worked as a security guard before switching to bodyguarding due to his excellent physical condition, athletic build, and height.
He later co-starred with Bruce Willis in the film “Armageddon.” His most well-known role, “The Green Mile,” was made possible by this particular one. Additionally, Clarke acted in the films “Planet of the Apes” and “Sin City.”
In 2012, he suffered a heart attack in the hospital, and sadly, complications led to his demise.
