Kelly Preston, the late husband of John Travolta, passed away two years ago. Preston battled breast cancer for a long time before passing away.
On the other hand, Travolta has spoken up about his recovery process and has started to create new businesses.
The relationship between Kelly Preston and John Travolta started in 1989 at a screen test for their sitcom “The Experts.”
Travolta has always maintained that their relationship was a case of love at first sight, but when talk show host Andy Cohen questioned Preston about it on “Watch What Happens Live,” she said, “Kinda.” Despite divorcing Kevin Cage two years prior, Preston was still wed to him.
After her divorce, she married George Clooney, but the union was annulled in 1989. Preston wed Charly Sheen a year later, in 1990. Travolta wasted no time in claiming Preston as his own while he was unmarried.
A secret wedding ceremony was held on September 5, 1991, at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris as the pair instantly fell in love. Travolta wed Preston while she was eight months along with their son Jett.

For 28 years, Preston and Travolta have been wed. Still deeply in love, the pair was grateful to have each other for support during their relationship’s ups and downs. In 2005, Travolta said that counseling was the only solution that could have kept his marriage intact.
Since his mother’s passing, Travolta said his son has expressed his terror of dying.
According to the actor, the performer and his wife Preston attended treatment sessions every six months for a period of twelve years. The couple gave birth to three children throughout their relationship: Jett, who passed away at the age of 16, Ella Bleu, now 22, and Benjamin, now 11.

After going two years without being diagnosed, Preston lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 57. Her husband Travolta announced her passing on Instagram.
