After Pulling a String in an Attic, A man revealed a mystery that had been hidden for nearly 70 years

The Amazing Finding of Hidden Treasures: An Interesting Story

There have been several accounts of people finding hidden riches over the years. One man set out on a mission to find the family property that his father had hidden before being forced to leave the country.

Father’s Instructions

The process of learning how to uncover hidden objects from his father was far from simple for this individual. Considering that they had been kept hidden for seventy years, there were concerns regarding whether these things would withstand the test of time.

Thankfully, the goods were discovered, and to their amazement, they were discovered to be in superb condition. Returning to his childhood house, the man entered the attic and started looking for a little cord fastened to one of the wooden panels. Using this cable to open the shelves, an amazing variety of artifacts from previous eras may be seen.

The man had been concerned throughout the years that the repeated roof repairs on the house would have harmed the hidden riches. He discovered 70 packages that his father had meticulously hid in the attic, putting his worries to rest.

He remembers that “all of them spoke in the same voice.”

Despite his best attempts, he was unable to understand the writing so that he could take down the boards as his father had planned. While some of the parcels were open, others were still covered in brown paper. Newspapers, hat hangers, paintings, skis, paperweights, pencils, umbrellas, school tables, unlit cigarettes, badges, books, socks, and sewing tools were all included in the collection. Surprisingly, everything was still in good working order.

A Museum’s Purchase

The artifacts are now kept in a museum in the Czech city of Usti nad Labem because of their significant historical worth. The curator of the museum expressed surprise at seeing such an obscure “German property” nearby.

The museum director said, “The packages were very deftly concealed in the skylight vault.”

It was actually amazing how many stuff could fit in such a small area. To remove everything and look over the jewels took more than an hour.

Schlattner, the man, volunteered to help find the property even though he regretted not being able to retain the valuables for himself. He said, in response to the discovery, “We thought we’d come back one day and find a property there.”
