Simon Cowell is better recognized for his stern judgments than for expressing his emotions as he judges the X Factor contestants. But when it came to Josh Daniel, a 21-year-old car technician, Cowell was at a loss for words. In fact, the young man’s performance brought him to tears.
Josh performs “Jealous” by Labrinth while claiming to have a special interpretation of the lyrics. He wrote the song in memory of his best friend, who had passed away two years earlier.
Daniel responded, “I’m envious that you’re content without me. I understand it to be jealously over the fact that he has moved to a better area, is content in paradise, and that I am unable to stay with him.
