Supatra is sometimes referred to as “Chewbacca” after the Star Wars figure, and she was allegedly once dubbed the world’s hairiest woman.
17-year-old Supatra “Nat” Susuphan, a native of Bangkok.
Even sinister monikers like “Monkey Face” and “Wolf Girl” have been used against her. Supatra has excessive hair over her entire body.
She is one of only fifty people with Ambras syndrome that are currently known. A faulty gene is the cause of her disease.
Since the Middle Ages, there have only been 50 documented occurrences of Ambras Syndrome globally.
When Supatra was 11 years old, she broke the record for having the most hair of any girl in the entire globe.
According to RT, Supatra’s father Samreng confirmed that she still has Ambras Syndrome. However, she began shaving her face and body after being married to her true love.
She praises her hubby with admiration and tenderness. “Not just my first lover, you’re the love of my life,” one Facebook user said on the image.
NAT’S ENTHUSIASM
People with Ambras Syndrome were referred to as “werewolves” before the condition was fully understood.
She continued to express her gratitude for being alive and laughing, despite the fact that she was often called “Wolf Girl.”
She stated that she doesn’t feel “any different from anyone else, and I’ve got lots of friends at school” at the Guinness World Records event held in Rome in 2010.
“Having hair makes me special,” she declared.One of the most thrilling events in her life was when she was dubbed the “hairiest girl in the world.”
One of the competition’s pleasures for on-screen judge Marco Frigatti was meeting Nat. She’s a remarkable young lady, stated Marco.
“She wants to be treated equally with everyone else and is proud of who she is. She doesn’t have a problem; rather, the issue is with people who treat her differently, he continued.
After her birth, Supatra needed two operations just to make sure she could breathe. Despite growing up with a disease, she managed to remain positive.
Supatra keeps working on her studies as well. She talked about how much she loved arithmetic.
Nat Discovers Love
She informed the newsroom that she wished to pursue medical school so she could provide care for several people.
The young girl found it difficult to grow up in a culture where racism infiltrated every facet of daily life. Since she was avoided by students at school, she suffered.
Supatra persisted, though, and her community ultimately started to accept her.
She didn’t have any trouble making friends when she was little or playing with them. She is currently blissfully wed to the man she cherishes.
Supatra is only getting started, and the saddest stories don’t always have good ends.
