Bus driver didn’t think photo holding crying kid’s hand was a “big deal” – local police thought differently

You most likely remember the stress and anxiety you experienced on your very first day of classes.

It’s reasonable to infer that a sizable percentage of children fear about leaving the house alone themselves and going into the unknown, even though not all of them feel this way.

Axel, a small boy, was undoubtedly one. He was finding it difficult to accept that he would not be seeing his mother, Amy Johnson, even though she had assured him that everything would be alright.

When Isabel Lane, the bus driver, drew up to pick Axel up, she saw his fear almost instantly.

Isabel remarked, “When he saw me around the corner, he was all smiles.” “After that, I began to slow down. And that’s when you noticed a change in his expression.

After helping Axel up, Amy set him down on the closest bus seat. She then made an attempt to get a picture of her son so that they would have it as a keepsake for later.

But that would be more difficult than anticipated. Axel was reaching for Amy as soon as she started to move away. At that moment, Isabel, the bus driver, did something very amazing: she reached back and grabbed Axel’s hand.

That reassuring move gave Amy the much-needed wake-up call. She posted it to Facebook, where it quickly gained popularity among other users.

Even the local police agency posted the picture, complimenting Isabel for supporting Amy during a trying moment.

Personally, I didn’t think it was all that big of an issue. Later, Isabel remarked, “I guess this is something that I would do.”

Reports state that Isabel’s tiny gesture of consolation proved to be just what Axel needed. The following day, the 10-year-old had a different attitude; he arrived at the stop by himself, greeted Isabel, and boarded the vehicle.

Well done, Isabel! Amy is undoubtedly incredibly appreciative of everything you done for her son.

If you would want to thank Isabel for her kindness and wish Axel the best of luck in the future, please share this post.
