Fans spot worrying detail in new photo of Martha Stewart, 82 – and everyone’s saying the same thing

All things considered, Marta Stewart is a well-liked person with admirers and followers everywhere.

Her latest social media post after a trip to Greenland, which many have branded as “tone-deaf,” has drawn criticism, though.

After appearing for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in May, the 82-year-old received a lot of attention earlier this year; but, the optimism surrounding her most recent Instagram post has not persisted.

On Tuesday, August 29, Stewart shared a picture of herself during a voyage in which she observed Greenland’s east coast. One image, out of multiple, displays the TV personality and entrepreneur sipping a cocktail, with the following caption:

“Last minute of the inaugural Zodiac cruise from Swan Hellenic Cruises into an incredibly picturesque fjord on Greenland’s east coast.” For our cocktails tonight, we managed to catch a tiny piece of iceberg.

Even while Stewart probably thought her post was harmless, it quickly infuriated her fans, who thought it was inappropriate for her to use the “small iceberg” for her drink.

People quickly flooded Stewart’s comments section, criticizing her for bringing up a tiny iceberg in the context of the “ice caps melting.”

One Instagram user said, “Martha, don’t put the melting ice caps in your drink.”

“Generally, I love Martha and her excesses because he’s about beautiful gardens, homes, and food, but wealthy white people drinking their iceberg cocktails while the planet is in flames is a bit tone deaf,” someone another said.

Thus, millionaires travel to the melting icebergs, scoop them up, and use them to keep their cocktails cold as the climate warms as a result of the profits of a few thousand people. That sentence sounds like out of a dystopian book. Can’t make this stuff up, haha,” remarked a third.

“Ice caps are melting due to global warming, yet we still need glacier ice for cocktails? Bring up tone def. A fourth person remarked, “I’ve been a fan for years, but I’ve seen enough caviar lately as I struggle to buy groceries that I’m out.”

When Stewart boldly posed in provocative bikinis for the Sports Illustrated cover back in May, she created history. The 81-year-old revealed her strict pre-existing wellness regimen as well.

Stewart said, “I didn’t starve myself, but I didn’t eat any bread or pasta for a couple of months,” when he appeared on the Today show.

“I went to Pilates every other day, and it was fantastic. I’m still going because it’s that good. And I simply lead a clean life in any case—a balanced diet, regular exercise, decent skincare, and all of that.”

Stewart talked about how fans reacted to the “authentic” cover during her keynote address at the Las Vegas event.

Women of various ages felt inspired by it to believe that “if she can do it, then I can do it too,” according to Stewart, who said that the response to it was incredibly positive.
