In the dead of night, a newborn baby was saved by a recently acquired stray dog.

At the rural house they bought, the Robinson family planned to start a farm.
Mrs. Robinson welcomed a boy into her family for her second child in less than four months. When they moved into the new house, they started organizing the child’s room so that it would be prepared for the new family member.

The Robinsons were avid animal lovers who now want a puppy at the very least because their landlord banned them from owning a dog.
Together with their 6-year-old child, Matias, the two wives went to an animal shelter to choose a dog. Their dream dog would be a non-aggressive that would grow up with the farm’s children.
Having seen the paddocks and heard the heartbreaking stories of several dogs, they were at a loss as to which puppy to choose.

At the end of their tour, they bid adieu to Benson, a 4-year-old pit bull. With his tail between his knees and his head bowed, he stood back, seemingly lost all hope for mankind.
When the Robinson family queried the animal shelter workers about Benson’s past, they told them that he had a very sad life. He was dumped on the streets and used in dog fights until volunteers found him. After being in the dog shelter for a while, a couple adopted Benson, but he was sent back to the shelter after only two weeks because of behavioral problems and aggressiveness towards his owners.

Hastily, he was transported to a nearby hospital where doctors quickly started CPR. The doctor told the parents that the baby would not have survived if he had been in cardiorespiratory arrest for more than thirty minutes.
Benson gained notoriety and proved that nothing occurs by accident. The Robinson family saved their newborn by giving their dog, Benson, a chance that no one else gave him.
