People assume a heavily tattooed father is a terrible father, until his wife exposes the reality.

The well-known proverb “Don’t judge a book by its cover” is worth reiterating from time to time. It can be really harsh to judge a parent based only on appearance if they don’t look how you expected them to.

After witnessing his facial tattoos, he was informed by others that he was a terrible father. However, his spouse then stated something unexpected. Go on reading to learn more.

Being oneself requires being able to express oneself. Individuals can express themselves artistically through tattoos. Richard Huff, 51, wanted to express himself through his tattoos, which total over 240.

The self-described ink addict is a married mother of five kids. His spouse regularly posts images and videos of him with their kids, which are not always well received by fans.

The 51-year-old Huff wants everyone to know that his family is “no different” from any other. He has, however, claimed that random people online make fun of him for his appearance all the time.

He gave his account of how it all started. Huff continued, “It became an addiction; I started with my legs and worked my way up.” He disclosed that 85% of his body is currently covered in tattoos. His daughter’s lips and the names of his children are among the tattoos.

Richard declared, “Probably in the next four years, I want to be completely covered in tattoos.” “I’m not sure if it’s the suffering you endure or the artwork you put on yourself, but when you can do this, it just gets fascinating.”

He claimed that having numerous tattoos has its own set of problems. He talked about how the kids at his kids’ school thought he was scary. “They say, ‘Ah, it’s a bit scary,’ and I say, ‘No, my dad is not scary, he is good with tattoos,'” his daughter said to me.

His wife Marita acknowledged that she was also afraid of Richard. “At first, I did judge Richard based only on his appearance, but after getting to know him a little bit, I realized that he is actually a kind person,” she continued.

She shares on social media a lot about her husband and how he loves her in a way that nobody else does. She constantly talks up his qualities and commends him for being a good father and spouse. Richard is more than a true father to Marita’s three children from previous marriages, according to Marita, because he has gone above and beyond for them.

Richard clarified, “I attend all of my kids’ events and I’m a member of the PTA.”

People still criticize him in spite of all the information available regarding his wonderful spirit. “I’m not against tattoos, but honestly, does he need tattoos on his face like that?” remarked a member in the audience.

But others also stand up for Richard. One more said, “Everyone keeps talking about his face tattoo.” He finds it enjoyable. He grabbed it. He’s an excellent father. Let him be.

Richard said of the disparaging remarks, “If somebody can make negative comments like that, there’s something wrong with them that they would have to judge somebody else.” He continues, “This is what we did, and we’re happy.” Our children’s happiness and our six-year marriage have been our only priorities.

Richard continues by saying that although negative comments can occasionally irritate him, they never make him less of a lover for his family or vice versa. He said, “Having tattoos does not scare my children; it does not make me a bad father; rather, it gives my kids a different outlook on life.”
