People all throughout the world are in tears over this adorable video of a 6-year-old kid bidding farewell to his younger sister.
Adalynn “Addy,” the 4-year-old daughter of Matt Sooter, was photographed in Arkansas and is afflicted with a rare kind of cancer.
“A young boy should not have to say goodbye to his playmate, his best friend, his younger sister, or his accomplice in crime,” the author said.
Over 8,000 people commented on the heartbreaking photo. The parents are currently making an effort to raise awareness of this rare ailment.
The diagnosis of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare tumor that originates in the brainstem, in November 2016 completely upended the Sooter family’s world.
Before her symptoms worsened, Addy would need to treat the growing tumor for an additional eighteen months.
Matt wrote about his daughter’s tragic death on Facebook. She was four years old.
“Addy has experienced worsening symptoms over the last 18 hours.” When she woke up yesterday, she was her lively, independent self. We have admitted our infant to inpatient care, even though we still see her on sometimes. She is currently sleeping most of the time and finds it difficult to eat or swallow. “She probably doesn’t have much time left,” he wrote on Facebook.

Big Brother was reluctant to part from his sister.
If friends and family wished to say a final goodbye to their beloved daughter, he asked them to write a meaningful and sorrowful note.
Matt also begged for prayers for Jackson, his older brother, who stayed by his sister’s side no matter what.
Her death occurred shortly after Jackson bid his younger sister good night and told her how much he loved her.
“Beautiful child who loved lending a hand to others.”
A few hours later, the family announced their daughter’s passing on the Facebook page Hope for Addy Joy – Fighting DIPG.
“She went from this life to the next with her family by her side, peacefully and stubbornly, just as she had lived.” “She was not in any pain at all at the end,” it said.
“We truly miss our baby girl, even though this is only a temporary farewell.”
In an effort to “save future children from a similar fate,” Addy’s brain and spine tumors were donated for scientific study.
“We thought this would be a great way to show our sweet girl’s giving heart,” they posted on their Facebook page. She liked giving gifts and assisting others.
Everyone knows someone who has been impacted by this terrible disease, but it is especially tragic when children are impacted.
