People, hold on to your hats! The world has been enthralled with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce—and by the world, we actually mean Instagram. Yes, you correctly guessed. These two romantics recently made their Instagram debut in an extremely spectacular way!
On Saturday, June 22, the couple posted an Instagram photo fit for a royal, and they discuss starting things off big.
The 34-year-old “Shake It Off” singer shared an iconic selfie while seated elegantly at Wembley Stadium during her first London Eras Tour performance. The picture included Kelce, Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte. Is it even possible for you to imagine?
“Happy Birthday, M8! Taylor said, “London shows are off to a splendid start @princeandprincessofwales,” as a happy homage to the Prince of Wales, whose 42nd birthday was just the day before. Without a little affection for social media, what would be a birthday?
Online PDAs are very new, but these two? They started dating almost a year ago. But up until now, Kelce has never been featured on Swift’s Instagram or by X, the artist formerly known as Twitter.
Swift’s appearance at Kelce’s games in September 2023 sparked the beginning of rumors, and ever since then, the couple has been spotted together at public gatherings and each other’s performances. You can sure that they have helped one another along the road, wherever they may have gone—from Australia to Paris, Singapore to London. She even served as his personal Super Bowl cheerleader in 2024. Talk about your aspirations for a partnership!
The royal treatment didn’t end there, either. Swifty again posed for a picture with the royal group, which was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account. “Many thanks to @taylorswift for an amazing evening!” was captioned. In the post titled “#LondonTSTheErastour,” Taylor could be seen grinning broadly while taking the photo.
Kelce, however, was more than just the night’s Instagram boyfriend. He was the epitome of the endearing. On June 21, he was spotted on social media lip-reading Swift’s song “Lover” with true emotion and sincerity. When Swift sang, “Oh you’re my, my, my, darling you’re my, my, my, my…Lover,” he even gestured to himself. Let the group *awws* begin.
Swift continued to sing as Kelce, not only joined in on the fun but also performed some dance steps that astonished the audience. Give the tissues to us!
If you thought that was adorable, Taylor included a heartfelt homage to her beau in her rendition of “So High School.” She mimicked pulling a bow and arrow, a gesture Kelce frequently uses during his games, in typical Chiefs fashion. Yes, fans did manage to get a picture of Kelce’s smile, which has since gone viral on the internet.
But that night, family came first. In the VIP area, Kelce was seen giving Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, a firm handshake. Mom Andrea Swift, a co-cheerleader, was there to support the entire event.
London concerts seem to draw a large number of A-list attendees; forget about red carpets. Attendees included Leslie Mann, Cara Delevingne, Camilla Whitehill-Mathieson, Jonathan Van Ness, Nicola Coughlan, Salma Hayek, Jason Kelce, his wife Kylie, and Van Ness’s spouse, Mark Peacock. Just a laid-back Friday evening, huh?
Keep your calendars tight, swifties. Before leaving for Ireland the following week, Taylor has two more gigs in London this weekend. On August 15, she will return to Wembley for five back-to-back, thrilling evenings as part of her European tour.
