At 69, Reba McEntire wears transparent lace to 2024 ACM Awards, and everyone’s saying the same thing

It’s safe to say that Reba McEntire took her share of the spotlight when she hosted the American Country Music Awards for a record-breaking 17th time last week.

The legendary singer, who has served as the ceremony’s emcee on multiple occasions in the past, including in 2019 and as recently as last year, was present to emcee the event in Fresco, Texas.

The 69-year-old is obviously skilled by this stage, and it was abundantly evident from her opening monologue that she would be performing at her best once more. Fans who watched at home did have a lot to say about Reba’s hosting abilities, in addition to complimenting her on her red carpet attire.

According to sources, McEntire wore a black sequined blazer and flared trousers by Roberto Cavalli with a lace pattern while walking the red carpet. She accessorized her flamboyant evening ensemble with turquoise necklace and chandelier earrings.

It goes without saying that Reba’s attire generated a wide range of online opinions. The singer, who sang the “Star Spangled Banner” during this year’s Super Bowl, is well-known outside of the US, and her admirers came out in force following the 2024 ACM Awards.

One person commented, “Absolutely stunning as usual Reba.”

“You are incredible at what you do,” another person added. However, it’s equally crucial to acknowledge how stunning you appear.

A third said, “She is one gorgeous woman.”

People were impressed not only by her appearance but also by her innate talent for entertaining. As previously said, McEntire hosted the event for the seventeenth time, and she has been associated with the ACM Awards for more than 40 years, dating back to the time she won her first trophy.

Reba knew this, since she joked that Jelly Roll was once the name of an after-school snack (referring to award-nominated country music performer Jelly Roll) and that she used to come to school on a stagecoach rather than a well-known country music festival.

It didn’t take long for event attendees to voice their thoughts about Reba’s efforts.

One fan on X commented, “This year’s show with Reba hosting is like having your favorite aunt over for dinner.””You love hearing from her, and she’s so sweet.”

The star “is just an absolutely incredible entertainer, country music is lucky to have her,” another person commented.

A fourth said, “It’s always a party and a good time.”

McEntire was called “the ultimate host” by a fifth.
