There are many things to think about in the wake of the US election this week.
Even if we spent an entire month going through everything that has been said, speculated, and rumored in the last few days, we really couldn’t give a comprehensive overview.
Given that Donald Trump has become the most divisive presidential candidate in history during his three electoral campaigns, this should not be shocking.
Whether you agree with him or not, you have an opinion, and it’s a testament to his charm and cult-like appeal that every single detail of his life—every single little decision he makes—is examined, analyzed, and analyzed in order to better understand what the hell is going on.
And it appears that it includes his closest family members.
Earlier this week, a ton of articles on the rarely seen Barron Trump went viral online, and a lot of right-wing lick-spittles have pleaded to be closer to Donald so they can share in his brilliance.
Another is Melania Trump. The former model was an indisputable presence during her husband’s first two campaigns in the White House, just as she was a key figure during his first term.
But it’s undeniable that something has shifted. Maybe the chaos caused by her husband’s unreasonable outbursts after the 2020 election defeat.
The horrific attack on democracy, or the corruption that took place on Capitol Hill? Or was it the hush-money scandal involving the disgusting relationship between Stormy Daniels, a former porn star, and Melania’s holy, moral husband?
Melania ultimately decided that she would rather remain in the background than be rolled out to stand at her husband’s side, displaying all the love and support of a wax figure, for a thousand and one reasons.
My argument is that her absence is apparent. When Donald begins his second term in office, people are taking notice, and there are now speculations going around that Melania might decide not to return to the White House.
The official line states that she wants to be nearer to support her 18-year-old son, Barron, who is currently enrolled in college.
Anyway, after Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris earlier this week, the Trumps posted a family photo, which further stoked the fires. On Wednesday, Donald Trump Jr.’s eldest kid, Kai Trump, shared a photo of nearly the whole Trump family, including Elon Musk, along with the caption, “The whole squad.”
Melania was also not participating.
The absence of the former and future First Lady was noticed by many social media users, who openly questioned why the individuals in the photo couldn’t wait for her and what she might be doing that would make her not appear in the photo.

Melania spent the whole 2024 election day by her husband’s side after emerging from, well, who knows where.
She was with him as he gave his victory address from West Palm Beach that night.
She was there even though she wasn’t there when the previously described shot was taken.
Kimberly Guilfoyle, who has been engaged to Donald Trump Jr. since 2021, was left out of the picture on election night, despite the fact that his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, was included.
