While emergency services were being contacted, reporters on the scene saw Brown receiving CPR. Later, in a public statement, the event’s organizer, BoxLunch, affirmed this.
The firm said on December 7, 2024, “We are devastated by the passing of Dominique Brown, a beloved member of the BoxLunch Collective, who suffered a medical emergency at an event hosted by BoxLunch on Thursday in Los Angeles.”
“We will do everything we can to support her family and friends, as well as the members of the BoxLunch Collective and our team, during this difficult time,” they continued.
According to a source close to the event, BoxLunch had already informed the venue of the participants’ allergy issues, and 911 was contacted right away. An impartial inquiry of the event is currently being carried out by BoxLunch.
Additionally, the business has provided grief therapy to employees and members of the BoxLunch Collective, the influencer group they frequently work with.

“Our hearts go out to her family and especially to our brother Zay,” they said, adding their sympathies to Brown’s loved ones. For everyone who knew you, your love and happiness was a tale of style, happiness, and inspiration that was nothing short of a Disney fairytale. Don’t worry, Domo. She commented in her Instagram account, “Seeing everyone’s posts about sweet Dominique just goes to show how impactful she was to so many people.”
