Beyoncé Takes Over The NFL Christmas Halftime Show With ‘Cowboy Carter’ Blowout

The internet dubbed the Baltimore vs. Houston game the “Beyoncé Bowl” after the singer called it quits.

When Beyoncé took the stage for the halftime act during the NFL game between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans, everyone was saying “Amen.”

The singer performed tunes from her country album “Cowboy Carter” at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston on Wednesday in honor of the Christmas holiday.

Before performing “16 Carriages” and her Beatles interpretation of “Blackbiird,” in which she was joined by country singers Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Roberts, Beyoncé, of course, began her show Texas-style by riding into the stadium on a white horse.

With an army of all-white dancers and the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul marching band, the singer dreamily rode the horse past a stream of brightly lighted cars while wearing an oversized white fur coat and matching cowboy hat.

Beyoncé continued to perform songs like “Ya Ya” and “Jolene” from the 11-time Grammy-nominated album.

The singer made unexpected appearances with fellow musicians Post Malone and country singer Shaboozey, who performed “Levii’s Jeans” and “Riiverdance,” respectively.

As her daughter Blue Ivy demonstrated her dancing prowess by square dancing with her mother, she ended her energetic performance, which was aired on Netflix, to the song “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

“Happy Christmas. Beyoncé concluded her performance while being lifted on a white platform far above the field and uttered the words, “God bless you all.”

Internet enthusiasts praised the star’s performance so much that many on X, formerly Twitter, sarcastically called the halftime show the “Beyoncé Bowl.”
