Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan shared a cute social media photo of their newborn daughter.
On her Instagram feed, 37-year-old Keegan posted a black and white photo with the message, “Together we have a new love to share… Our young daughter. The Palma Elizabeth Wright, March 6, 25.
The former Coronation street star and her ex-husband Wright, 38, of The Only Way is Essex, are seen in the picture clutching the newborn’s small hand.
The Essex-based couple, who were married in 2015, revealed last December that they were expecting a child together.
Keegan announced the news in 2024 by sharing a picture of herself and her spouse, showing off her growing baby bulge, and writing, “2025 is going to be a special one for us…” with a baby emoji.
As soon as the new mother revealed the news on Wednesday, days after her daughter was born, the couple’s admirers, old co-stars, and friends rushed to the comments section.
Alan Halsall, Keegan’s former co-star on Coronation Street, wrote: “Congratulations. Palma, welcome.
“Congratulations to you both,” said a statement from the soap opera’s official account. From all of us at Corrie X, love.
“So happy for you both,” a third person commented. A lovely baby girl. Well done. She’ll be encircling her tiny finger with all the boys. I am really excited to see her.
Huge congrats to both of you. As a trio, our upcoming journey will be incredible. I’m really happy for you two,” someone else wrote.
“Wow, you two deserve so much congrats on the birth of your lovely daughter. To all three of you, loads of love,” someone else said.
“Huge congratulations to you all,” said another commenter. So lovely. I’m sending a ton of love your way xxx. (sic)
The actress has recently spoken out against cruel inquiries about her ambitions to become a mother, which began as soon as she married Wright.
The actress acknowledged in a candid 2019 interview that she was “frustrated” by the repeated questions about when she intended to have her first kid.
She said, “It’s awful,” pointing out that it’s like, ‘You’re 32. Do you have no plans to become a parent yet?

“People are unaware of our efforts. They are unaware of the context of the situation.
In December, Michelle Keegan revealed she was expecting her first child.
“It is nobody else’s concern. “You shouldn’t ask questions like that in this day and age,” she told The Sun.
