After two years of dating, Tessa and Ryan made the decision to tie the knot. One day, Ryan handed Tessa a sealed box and instructed her to open it only in the unlikely event that he failed to attend their wedding.
Tessa initially paid little attention to the box, nearly forgetting it was there. However, Ryan was not to be seen on the wedding day when everyone else had arrived.
Tessa tried contacting him, assuming he was simply running late, but he didn’t pick up. As the minutes went by, uncertainty started to creep in and anxiousness increased. She recalled the box at that point. She hurried home to open it in a hurry.
