“I saw your wife the night she vanished, so she is not dead.”
The small girl described how she had witnessed Thomas’s injured wife emerge from the water and then be escorted away by a group of guys in a van.
Thomas was profoundly impacted by this realization.
He trailed the girl to a tiny seaside community.
He discovered his wife there, in a remote cottage, weak and covered in several wounds.
Their account appeared on the newspaper main page two weeks following this finding, but Thomas chose to ignore it.
