The Voice’s blind auditions always enthrall the judges with a sense of mystery. The judges are frequently taken aback by the discrepancy between a contestant’s voice and looks. Jacob Norton, a fourteen-year-old from Colchester, Essex, stunned every judge during his audition for The Voice: UK.
Everyone is in awe of Jacob’s singing voice despite his enormous size. Jacob chose to sing Fred Astaire’s ageless hit, “Puttin’ On the Ritz,” during his audition. The decades-old song was the ideal option because of Jacob’s very deep voice, which made him sound much older than he actually was.
The sudden, strong voice that echoed from behind the coaches, Pixie Lott, Will.i.am, and Danny Jones, startled them. They believed that they were the target of a practical prank. All three judges eagerly turned their chairs to get a sight of the person who possessed this remarkable voice, out of pure curiosity. Jacob’s enthralling performance was met with loud applause from the audience, who got up from their seats to join in.

When the judges chose him, Jacob was ecstatic, but he kept his cool to finish his song well. The speed quickens as the song approaches its halfway point, and Jacob makes the most of the stage to interact with the crowd. His performance clearly delighted the judges as well as the audience.
Jacob’s manner immediately changes from professional to excited childlike when his audition is over. He can’t resist cheering like a fourteen-year-old and jumping up and down. His performance greatly impressed the judges, who gave him excellent reviews.
“Your voice has such a beautiful depth,” Pixie said.Whoa, I can’t even think what to say! It is unlike anything I have ever heard.
Danny said, “That voice is so amazing that we’re all at a lost for words right now.Man, I think it’s amazing.
Jacob carefully weighs the opinions of the three judges before deciding to join Team Danny. Jacob freely admitted to being really nervous during the interview. “But I just got into it when I started singing; all I wanted was for at least one person to turn.” When I got three turns, it was such a shock because I was afraid I wouldn’t get anyone.
