A 27-year-old woman from South Devon, Taylor Paige Courtenay, has gone viral after clapping back at critics who claim she’ll “regret” covering her body in tattoos.
With ink stretching across her neck, arms, stomach, and legs, Courtenay says her tattoos are like a personal diary—each one tied to a memory, emotion, or chapter of her life. But not everyone sees it that way. Many older commenters insist she’ll hate how she looks at 60, questioning her choices and even her future.

Instead of shrinking back, she responded directly in a TikTok video, pointing out that everyone ages—tattoos or not. For her, self-expression matters more than fitting traditional beauty standards or chasing approval from strangers.
Some critics argue she’s “asking for judgment” by posting online, but thousands of supporters have praised her confidence and defended her right to do what she wants with her own body.
Now a mother and in a committed relationship, Courtenay’s life also pushes back against the idea that tattoos prevent love, stability, or success.
Her message is clear: getting older is unavoidable—but living authentically is a choice.
