Paola Troilo comes from Laval, Quebec, and imports food from Italy, from pasta and olive oil to fresh truffles. When she walked onto the Canada’s Got Talent stage, the judges joked about truffles and wondered if her sons had some in their pockets.
Then came the surprise. Asked how long she had been singing, Paola said she did not know. She thought she was just making noise alone in her room and even worried she was disturbing people. Someone heard her and made her realize it was singing. Her sons were the ones who signed her up for the show.
The music started and a powerful operatic voice filled the theater 🎶. The audience went from curious to completely amazed, and Paola became emotional as the crowd cheered.
The judges thanked her sons for signing her up and told her it was not noise, it was beautiful and wonderful. One said any judge would be insane not to say yes, and all four of them voted yes together on the count of three ❤️.
