A 12-Year-Old From Lancashire Sang Run So Gently That the BGT Judges Called His Voice Heavenly

Cormac Thompson was 12 years old and from Lancashire when he stepped onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage. He looked a little shy as he introduced himself, and the judges wished him luck.

He chose Run by Snow Patrol, and from the very first line, the theater went quiet. His voice was soft, clear and pure 🎶.

As the song grew, so did his voice, and the audience listened to every word before bursting into applause.

The judges loved it. One said it was a brilliant song choice and that he had made it his own. Another said his voice was so pure and angelic that it was heavenly. Then the yeses came one after another, and Cormac left the stage with four yeses ✨.
