She Lived in Nine Foster Homes, and the Last Family Bought Her a Guitar, Then Canada's Got Talent Gave Her the Golden Buzzer

Anica from New Brunswick said music had been with her since she was a child. Her childhood was very hard, and she lived in nine foster homes. The last family she lived with bought her a guitar, and she could not believe it was hers.

She said music helped her make sense of everything she had been through, and that it gave her a voice. She came to Canada’s Got Talent to show others who went through something similar that they can still be happy 🎸.

Then she sang Sia’s Unstoppable, with power and confidence, and the crowd was right behind her.

Host Lindsay, who said she also went through a lot in her own childhood, told Anica she was an inspiration to everyone in the room and deserved a worldwide stage. Then she pressed the Golden Buzzer, and Anica went straight through to the semi finals ✨.
