It’s possible that you don’t know who Charis Pempengko is. However, Oprah Winfrey, the most well-known TV personality of all time, once referred to this young Filipino vocalist as “the most gifted lady in the world.” And when I say that she is knowledgeable, believe me.
When Charis was 14 years old, she was well known to everyone. The amazing success of her YouTube film made this possible. David Foster, a renowned producer and songwriter, took the young vocalist under his wing as soon as he learned about her.
Foster and Charis even went to one of the concerts. The incredible performance of the extremely challenging song “All By Myself” that night astounded him and the audience.
