Angelina Jordan walked onto the stage of America’s Got Talent: The Champions barefoot and smiling. The judges already knew her story. She had won Norway’s Got Talent in 2014, when she was only 7 years old.
Now 13, she said she had waited ten years to sing for Simon Cowell, and called him a legend. Then she chose one of the most famous rock songs ever written, Bohemian Rhapsody, and slowed it down into a soft, jazzy ballad 🎶.
Her voice was calm, deep and full of feeling, far beyond her age. The audience listened in silence, then burst into applause.
One judge said she was witnessing the birth of a star, and that this performance would change Angelina’s life and career forever. Another said they had never heard the song in that version before. Then Alesha Dixon hit the Golden Buzzer, and gold confetti fell around the young singer ✨.
