Brooks has a heartfelt appeal that will not fail to move you.
Fans praised and reminisced over the stunning recent Instagram image by celebrity Brooke Shields. In her most recent tweet, the actress revealed an astounding tidbit about the time she spent making one of her most well-known movies, The Blue Lagoon.
The actress published a brief montage of behind-the-scenes images and pictures of Brooke, 15, while she was working on the set. She captioned the video, “It’s been over 40 years (ahem… supposedly) since The Blue Lagoon came out.”
and she was deluged with messages from admirers declaring Brooke and the movie to be their favorites.
The renowned 1980 film is Brooke’s first claim to fame, coming after years as a child model and her appearance in 1978’s Pretty Baby.
Fans and famous people alike flocked to the video’s commentary area. Deborah Roberts, an anchor for ABC and Al Roker’s wife, exclaimed, “Loved that movie!” Designer Danielle Snyder wrote, “You FOREVER Brooke!!!”
The old behind-the-scenes video thoroughly engrossed viewers and transported them to the era of the movie’s initial release. One viewer commented, “That movie made me want to be stranded on an island.” The movie was (and continues to be) so well-liked.
One supporter confessed, “I was obsessed with you and the movie,” while another remarked, “First movie I snuck [sic] watching!” Many others acknowledged that they did the same.
A young Brooke is shown in the flashback movie sporting several “stranded on an island” clothes.
The singer dazzles in the sepia-toned pictures while sporting a white triangle bikini, lace tops, and her signature bushy brows.
Brooke remarked, “I still look back on it with such fondness,” paying respect to the late Alan Pappe, who had captured her in “treasures from my personal photo albums.”
In addition to her current images, Brooke frequently shares stunning vintage photos on Instagram, showing that she hasn’t aged a day.
