When it appeared like Jennifer Garner could do little more to win over admirers worldwide, the adored actress went above and beyond with a heartwarming gesture that would warm even the coldest hearts.
The 51-year-old reportedly saw a homeless man in a wheelchair while she was in a Santa Monica Beach, California, parking lot.
It is easy to see how the majority of other A-list celebs would have just gotten into their car and gone away. However, Jennifer Garner comes from a different background.
We all know and adore Jennifer Garner because she always demonstrates throughout her work that she is a good, grounded person.
The Elektra star has a history that distinguishes her from the majority of her distinguished peers, whether it is preserving her family’s farm to preserve her ancestry, doing everything in her power to normalize postpartum baby bumps, or just proving that wrinkles and folds are normal as you age.
Garner only made headlines last week when she celebrated her father’s 85th birthday by giving him a ride in the automobile he used as a child. Her name is now making the rounds once more, but this time it’s for an act that reflects the compassion and selflessness of her spirit.
According to accounts, Gardner saw a homeless man who was clearly in need of assistance earlier this week while she was in a Santa Monica Beach parking lot.
The actress reportedly lowered down her car’s window to speak with the unfortunate stranger. She was considerate enough to see that the man in a wheelchair was barefooted in addition to providing him with a bag filled with necessities.
When Garner saw this, she exited her vehicle, knelt next to the man, and started putting socks on his feet.
The 13 Going on 30 actress wasn’t satisfied with that, so she tried to give the man the shoes by removing them from her own feet.
Even though it quickly became clear that the shoes were too small, Garner persisted and went up to a paparazzo who was following her to ask if he could assist.
As stated on Page Six, she inquired, “What size feet do you have?” Can I get him your shoes? He needs a pair of shoes.
When the photographer inquired about the man’s size, Garner said that the homeless man was “10 and a half.”
“Oh, I’m eleven! Do you want me to give him it? He may have it from me,” the paparazzo said. To his credit, the photographer readily gave up his shoes and declined to accept cash from Garner.
Of course, anyone who has closely followed Garner’s life and career will probably not be surprised by her generosity. The actress, who joined with Save the Children more than ten years ago, has long been an advocate for aiding those in need.
She previously told Southern Living, “Even though I didn’t grow up in poverty, I was surrounded by it and I always said I was a generation and a holler removed from rural poverty.”
And after searching, I found Save the Children. Since they are unquestionably at the forefront of aiding children in rural America.
