Simon is 12 and Maria is 10. Both were born in Colombia and now live in New Jersey. They walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage in outfits made in Colombia, and Sofia Vergara loved them before they even started.
It was their first time in front of such a big audience, but you would never guess it. Their salsa routine was fast and full of footwork and spins, and their faces were dancing as much as their feet. 🎶
The judges praised their amazing chemistry and said the audience would fall in love with them. One judge loved seeing kids who do more than sit in front of their phones, and another called them a ray of sunshine.
Sofia, who is Colombian too, said they picked one of her favorite salsa songs and gave them a yes. Two more yeses followed, and the young duo danced on to the next round. ❤️
