Crew 82 are four friends from Leeds, and they walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage with nothing but microphones. Their talent, they explained, was making music with their mouths, and their plan was to take beatboxing to the masses.
The moment they started, it sounded like a full band was playing. Beats, bass lines and vocals all came from four voices, and the crowd was soon clapping along as one of them sang over the rhythm. 🎶
The judges were blown away. One said they had never heard anything like it in their life, and another admitted forgetting the sounds were coming out of their mouths. Piers Morgan said that back in his newspaper days, a group like this was exactly what he would have wanted to find.
Simon gave them a 100 percent yes, Amanda added another, and with three yeses Crew 82 were through. Not bad for a band with no instruments at all. ❤️
