Hope Murphy, a 16-year-old from Upminster in Essex, told the Britain’s Got Talent judges she has been singing all her life, mostly locally, and that people usually react well when she sings.
She started her first song, but Simon stopped her. He said he had heard it many times and wanted something different from what everyone else was singing. 🎤
She offered two other options, “Feeling Good” and “This Woman’s Work,” and the judges chose the second. This time her voice filled the room with real emotion.
David called it incredible and said she has a great voice. Amanda told her she is a star in the making, and Simon said she sang it very well and that he liked her personality too. The yeses followed, and Simon called it a very easy yes. ✨
