Amir, who goes by Mir Money, was only 7 when he came to America’s Got Talent from Philadelphia. He said he was going to kill the stage and that he was not scared.
He told the judges he had been rapping for four years, named himself as his favorite rapper, and said that if he won the million dollars he would take care of his family. The audience cheered for him right away. 🎤
When the beat dropped, he rapped about money, commas and zeros and got the crowd on their feet. But Howard hit his buzzer, and when the song ended the little rapper was in tears.
Howard quickly apologized, called him a terrific and brave young man, and told him that none of the rappers he interviews on the radio are quite as good as him. In the end two judges said no, and Howard called it his worst nightmare, but said he had to be fair to everyone. 💙
