Vinnie Candela, 26, from Chicago, has been doing impressions all her life and posting them online since 2019. She came to America’s Got Talent because, as she put it, it is easy to post from your bedroom, but can you take it to a big stage?
Her idea was simple and ridiculous. She showed how famous singers would sound if they stubbed their toe, starting with Christina Aguilera and moving on to Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Coolidge and finally Mariah Carey. 😂
Every scream and dramatic high note made the audience laugh harder. One judge called her hysterical and talented and said her life could change that night, while another admitted it was annoying, but great annoying.
That judge said they kept wondering who Vinnie would do next. Simon said yes, and Vinnie walked off the stage with three yeses and a room full of new fans. ❤️
