Janice Robinson walked onto The X Factor UK stage in a sparkling outfit that made the judges smile before she had sung a note. She is 50, a mom of two daughters, from a small town called Garfield, New Jersey.
Asked what brought her to the UK, she said it all started with a song she wrote about 23 years earlier. It was called “Dreamer”, and the room reacted the moment she said the title.
She closed her eyes and sang it, and the audience cheered her on through every chorus of the song they all knew. 🎶
One judge said everyone in the room had just shared an indescribable moment and that she was not just the X Factor but every letter in the alphabet factor. Another called it an absolute banger and laughed that he was only four when it came out in 1995. ❤️
