Angelina Jolie’s Surprising Inheritance Decision: Why She Chose to Disinherit 5 of Her 6 Children

Recently, Angelina Jolie made waves when she abruptly decided not to inherit five of her six children. On the other hand, her son Maddox will receive the entire $116 million fortune she has amassed. This stunning admission has prompted many questions and left some wondering why she made such a choice.

Reportedly, Angelina Jolie made her decision out of appreciation for Maddox’s assistance throughout her divorce from Brad Pitt. As a sign of appreciation, she has opted to give her whole fortune completely to him. Jolie was upset that just one of her six kids took an active role in helping her through this difficult time.

Brad Pitt, who is allegedly angry with Jolie for giving preference to Maddox and leaving the other children out of her inheritance, has not taken kindly to this revelation. Treating Maddox like the “Golden Child” while denying the other children their just desserts, in his opinion, is unfair.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce was one of the most acrimonious celebrity divorces in recent memory, and it was followed by a turbulent custody struggle. In September 2016, Jolie filed for divorce, claiming her displeasure with Pitt’s parenting style as the cause of their breakup.

Jolie claimed during the argument that Pitt had beaten Maddox. Nevertheless, no charges were brought following an inquiry conducted by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. Still furious over the allegations, Brad Pitt is especially incensed about Jolie’s unwillingness to update the record, which he believes has further tarnished his reputation.

Brad Pitt is adamant that his children—Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and the 10-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne—should receive an equitable portion of Angelina Jolie’s fortune. He believes it is wrong to give Maddox total authority over the family’s financial resources.

Notably, Maddox helped his mother through their divorce, and Jolie has since named him CEO of her production company. Brad Pitt, though, is certain that Jolie shouldn’t overlook her other five children, even though Maddox has had a big impact on her life.

Angelina Jolie’s choice regarding her inheritance is probably going to exacerbate their continuing arguments about what’s best for their kids. Pitt and Jolie will definitely continue to dispute vehemently over this issue for years to come if these accusations turn out to be accurate.
