Brody is 15 and Alex is 17, and together they are the Brothers Gage, a harmonica duo from Topanga, California. They started learning the harmonica at about five years old and now own hundreds of them, because every key needs its own.
Their first ever performance was at the local Topanga talent show, where Brody finished by moonwalking off the stage. Today their big dreams are to play the Super Bowl and perform at the Grammys. 🎶
On the AGT stage they played an original instrumental they produced themselves, switching between three harmonicas because the song moves through three keys. Their playful back and forth duel had the crowd yelling with excitement.
One judge admitted that until that night they thought the harmonica was one of the most annoying instruments ever invented. Simon loved that the track was original and not overproduced and called their likeability factor enormous. 🔥
